Dan began work in the construction industry in 1997. Starting as an Apprentice Carpenter for an established high-end Residential Builder in Sydney, where he worked for over 15 years. During that time, he went from pushing around brooms and doing hardware runs to Project Managing high-end residential jobs. In 2013, he became a licensed Builder and started a boutique building company, focusing on high-end Residential projects. He has constructed 60+ Residential Projects ranging from Alterations & Additions to New Builds for over a decade.
During this time, Dan project managed, and quality controlled all aspects of residential construction. These works include but are but not limited to:
- AS:1684 Residential Timber Framed Construction
- Joinery and Bench Top works (installation and finishing details)
- AS:3740 Waterproofing of Wet Areas in Residential Buildings
- AS:1657 Stairways and Landings
- AS:3700 Masonry Structures

Dan has a very high level of experience in Quantity Surveying and preparing quotations for new builds and renovations/alterations and additions. His hands-on experience as a licensed Builder for over a decade has given him ample knowledge of not only supply, labour and build costs for tenders, but also considerations for variations and extensions of time throughout the build. Throughout this period, he estimated reasonable costs to complete the works for over 300 building projects.
